May. 2021 - Dec. 2022An Najaf, IraqAH Engineering Office is the MEP main contractor for many projects. The projects are 5 stars hotel, a hospital and a mall. On the mechanical part, the goal was to install the plumbing systems (Cold & Hot Water, Soft Hot Water, Potable Water, Hot Water Return, Pump Stations, etc.), and the HVAC systems (chillers, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Boilers and Hot Water Generators, with its respective ducting networks.), the firefighting network with respective accessories (Sprinklers in rooms and corridors, Pump stations, etc.) as per specifications, local and international standards and codes. My main task was to manage the mechanical team to deliver projects on time with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Designed and installed all the BMS components on the mechanical systems.
- Validated CAD plans, P&IDs, and specific documents. - Planned and followed up on the operations on-site.
- Provided technical support during system performance testing. - Controlled commissioning. - Measured project progress and cost commitment using metrics and estimates.
- Identified the main areas of work in order to optimize the site's production: production capacity, working methods, quality, human resources
- Supported the project management of new designs in the budget approach of projects
- Reduced equipment downtime by 85% after creating and implementing a process to track its condition
- Avoided overstaffing by decreasing human power on-site to 50% after establishing an estimation system for tasks
- Increased administrative productivity by 70% by introducing a new reporting system between the site in Al Najaf and the administration in Beirut.
