I am a Hiring Advisor at Context – Impulse am Arbeitsmarkt GmbH, a long-standing organisation specialised in adult education, labour market activation, and career coaching. Context partners closely with the Austrian public employment service (AMS), social funds, and community stakeholders to design and deliver impactful employment support programs across Austria. In my role, I contribute to Context’s mission of activating potential and facilitating sustainable employment for jobseekers. I work directly on the Aufbruch zu mehr project, which aims to support individuals in transitioning from marginal employment to full-time, social insurance-covered jobs within four months. This involves personalised advisory sessions, targeted outreach to current and prospective employers across sectors, and leveraging labour market instruments such as wage subsidies and integration support. I also help clarify employment conditions and address common misunderstandings that arise between jobseekers and employers, often in close cooperation with the Arbeiterkammer Wien (Chamber of Labour). Key achievements in this role include: Successfully guiding jobseekers through individual consultation and placement pathways to secure long-term, sustainable employment opportunities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse employers to expand hiring possibilities and open doors in new industries. Facilitating workshops and targeted support activities that empower participants with job search skills, confidence, and labour market knowledge. Supporting the Aufbruch zu mehr team in delivering high-quality, client-centred advisory services that reflect Context’s commitment to innovation and inclusion in active labour market policy.
