Jan. 2014Morehead KentuckyAs a Visionary / Entrepreneur - just wrote a business plan to build a World Destination Resort to serve Kentucky and our trail riding community of Cave Run Lake, Natural Bridge, Red River Geological Area and the Daniel Boone National Forest to attract International recognition and tourist dollars to our communities. The entire resort will be engineered and designed to reach “Net Zero Energy / Zero Energy” building certification and recognition as a Resort Development. Cave Run Lake Resort will become a worldwide example and learning center of how to address alternate energy needs, reduce fossil fuel emissions, all while reducing a development’s carbon footprint. The Resort will use a combination of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and other structural elements, photovoltaic energy systems, renewable solar and wind technologies, hydro electric generation systems, solar hot water, LED Lighting systems, water purification, water reclamation, geothermal heating to include state of the art cooling systems, and total IT software to monitor and maintain energy efficiencies. The entire construction and renewable energy systems processes and applications will be recorded for future educational materials. The Resort will also include a Holistic Learning and Wellness facility to help persons improve their quality of life. The resort will be a learning center that includes hydroponics grow system for growing feed for the animals in the equestrian centers and petting zoo. Governmental agencies from around the world will be invited to the Resort to see how to better their communities and the environment. The Resort will include a 400 room log lodge hotel with a 300,000 square foot indoor water park, Zip-Line Park, themed western town of outdoor adventures and retail, 400' x 400' open air amphitheater that resembles a "fort" for music events and festivals, 18 hole Championship Golf Course, Putt-putt golf, equestrian facilities with 100 acres of manicured trails.
