I live in Helsinki with my Finnish-Italian family. I hold a degree in Physics from the University of Bologna, Italy. My professional journey began in Oulu as a programmer in 2000. I have specialized in software design within the Microsoft environment, encompassing both server and workstation platforms. My expertise includes database design and management, document management, and providing technical customer support. I have accumulated approximately 15 years of programming experience, working with various companies, the last five years managing my own business. In 2014, seeking an additional challenges beyond programming, I began pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Psychology as an adult learner. While my interest in the human mind led me to psychology, I found the work too demanding and miss engaging in technical tasks, problem-solving and logical reasoning. Nevertheless, I consider these studies highly beneficial from a technical perspective as nearly half of my psychology studies focused on statistics and research methods. Additionally, both my studies and work experience have provided me with in-depth communication and negotiation skills. I have several years of experience with SQL databases and have studied SPSS, R, and Python programming. I am interested in working in SW development, data engineering and integration.
