Worked closely with our Secretariat, Rabin Martin, on programs and additional private sector member recruitment. Also chaired the Technology and Analytics Working Group that created a digital dashboard for GHSA member country assessments and action packages. The mission of the Global Health Security Agenda Private Sector Roundtable (PSRT) is to mobilize industry to help countries prevent, detect and respond to health-related crises and strengthen systems for health security. The PSRT serves as the focal point for companies seeking to address these challenges. The PSRT engages with governments participating in the GHSA, non-governmental partners and companies in the health care, communications, energy, finance, technology, transportation, logistics and other sectors to support countries in reaching the goals of the 11 GHSA Action Packages.

The High Value Healthcare Collaborative (HVHC) was a consortium of 20 healthcare delivery systems and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. The mission of the HVHC was to improve healthcare value – defined as quality and outcomes divided by costs, across time – for its service population, in a sustainable manner, while serving as a model for national healthcare reform. HVHC members shared data and compared performance to identify, test, and disseminate best practice care models and payment models. Industry recognized subject matter expert (SME) for all matters related to medical radiation dose and interventional fluoroscopy. Made multiple public presentations at national meetings on these topics, including the annual meetings of the RSNA and AAPM. Actively participated in MITA and DICOM workgroups.

My team cut overall reactive service calls 50% by using remote service software tools that monitored 250+ parameters on 1500+ systems and added 2000+ new pieces of critical technical information to the knowledge database. Led 50-member team of technical support and customer service experts to increase annual revenue 8% to $161+ million in 2010. Between 2006 and 2010, the team achieved a 110% increase in time between exam interruptions and 50% reduction in hard down failures. Cultivated professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), thought leaders, physicists, physicians, and organizations including NCRP and SIR. Featured speaker in the GEHC booth at the 2011 and 2012 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA); delivered several additional detailed technical presentations to customers and commercial specialists. Responded to FDA inquiries; knowledgeable in US and international regulatory requirements and standards. Led development, marketing and launch of a cloud-based clinical informatics software offering, Innova Dose Reports, which enabled customers to monitor patient radiation exposure from procedures, identify areas where dose can be minimized, build analytics around radiation exposure, mitigate risk, improve best practices, and facilitate reporting to regulatory bodies. Redesigned technical training certification process for field service and technical support engineers, including educating team on products clinical applications, soft skills and service tools. Drove Quality Management System (QMS) with the team, achieving 98%+ on time compliance and FDA recall field modifications on thousands of systems. Team was rated #1 in vendor performance by KLAS and #1 in remote service/overall system performance by IMV during my tenure.

Drove 62% improvement in Net Promoter Scores (from 41% to 71%) by evaluating the reliability of specific product components, providing feedback to the team, and creating an automated, cloud-based software solution to detect system failures/interruptions, speeding response time and providing early assessment of issues. Improved response time of technical support engineers 92% (<60 seconds) by building a trained, high-performance organization and dispersing the team geographically to facilitate stronger customer relationships and faster response. Decreased escalated customer issues by more than 40%. Reduced number of down service events from 8 to <1 per system in 1 year by leading the design, build, and marketing of a robust remote monitoring tool and capabilities (Innova Promise) for installed base of 1200+ Innova X-ray systems. Created marketing campaign around Innova Promise to educate customers on improved product reliability and patient outcomes, as well as the related increase in patient throughput and revenue for hospital cardiology departments. Built a new US Call Center team, ending offshore customer service triage support and driving overwhelmingly positive customer satisfaction scores; model was benchmarked and rolled out for other products within GEHC. Achieved #1 overall service provider and #1 in remote service by IMV, an external rating agency. Chosen by executive leadership as one of only a select few high-leadership potential employees to the GE Healthcare Manager Development Training Program.

Provided Six Sigma Black Belt support to a cross-functional team that generated a total of $105 million savings in 2002. Part of core team that developed the "Service Productivity Analysis Tool" which combined multiple sources of back office data (parts, dispatching, etc) to identify service productivity opportunities, material cost drivers and quality and reliability issues for GE Healthcare's medical imaging equipment. Developed and implemented "FE Assist" and "Top 10 Parts" processes to enforce level 3 technical support oversight of diagnosis of high material cost parts or commonly misdiagnosed system issues. This system led to significant material cost reduction and overall installation and warranty cost savings as well as served as an early warning system to identify reliability issues.
