ContinentalSenior Project Manager
Apr. 2016 - Jul. 2016South AfricaUsed the Waterfall methodology to execute the logistics monster of getting Continental Tyres sales office, the Conti-tech Africa Advanced engineering manufacturing plant and warehouse, the Continental Tyres warehouse and the main administration office from 4 different locations into one central location in Crown mines. I wrote the Scope of Work including the 10 subject matter areas from PMBOK, the budget and the project plan and schedules. Saw where I could add some fat into the plan and where the critical path should run. Along with all the planning for the logistics move of their entire stock of Tyres and Advanced engineering products, all the staff members numbering 90, we had to find a building Big enough to home this corporate giant. once that was settled. The fire sprinkler system had to be installed with two huge water pillons being made of concrete. Running around between four premises I had to do RFQ and RFP processes for all the services the building is going to need. Security company on site. Cleaning company inside warehouse and manufacturing. We managed to get everything done in time on budget and in scope. I was very happy and the head of supply chain from head office in uitenhage said they could not have done it without me. I liked that
