My life is driven by freedom and independence. I have a successful track record with 35+ years of delivering results in general management (CEO), sales/marketing/trade & channel marketing (CCO), as well as people management, change/crisis management plus business consulting. Next to that 13+ years of experience as shareholder and investor in several companies. My passion is creating and growing winning businesses in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) - more specific food and beverages. Living in Sweden but my field of operation is worldwide and a special focus on The Netherlands. With deep international commercial experience. And a feel and appetite for international cultures and different ways of doing business on a global scale. I am fluent in English and Dutch while I am 'sufficiently getting around' with Swedish, German and somewhat French. Currently, I am owner of the Fred&Ed company, a kids brand that we are rebuilding with my investment, sales and marketing skills. I am also a shareholder in VVV Investment (an investment company), Brand Expand Europe (a distribution company), Brand Expand Nordics (a management/holding company) and Surprise Drinks Holding (the holding company of Surprise Drinks). I hold a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bradford (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor degree in Commerce. And completing ’Executive Board Program’ at Insead university. My leisure passions are private piloting (holding several pilot licenses) and sailing our yacht 'Wind of Change' over the seas and along the beautiful west coast of Sweden.
