Nov. 2019Belgrade, Centralna Srbija, SerbiaCurrently working in InterVenture for Swiss client called Flaschenpost Services AG. Flascenpost is one of the main wine sellers in Switzerland. I took one of the main parts in setting up our new web shop which is based on Symfony and React. System uses commercetools to store products, carts, shipping methods, etc, which is, by my opinion, quite good implementation since commercetools has really good support for such a thing. Mine tasks also includes checks if user is solvent ( using third party APIs) , connection with payment providers and so on.It's much more backend role.
However, after some time we realised that project can be improved if we choose different tech stack. So, we informed management that there are lot of benefits if we transfer to Node + React, and I can say that I'm one of initiators of that change. In last couple of months we are writing new project based on Node ( Express ) on backend side and React( Next.js ) on front end. Our idea is to separate code in appropriate micro services and to follow that road map. Each projects or a service uses Typescript, both on front and on back end. We have integration with MongoDB and with redis for different purpose.Infrastucture is run via aws
