Jan. 2006 - Dec. 2016Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia20 Projects/year based on PMI, agile methodologies mainly a custum made kanban methodology and sometimes waterwall methodology or a custom scrum. At Celsia SA ESP (formerly Enertolima), I held two main roles. From 2011
to 2016, as a team leader for strategics. data analysis, business
Intelligence, developing, a team of 20+ engineers, I developed a datadriven strategy starting with strategic planning. I implemented an
automated Balanced Scorecard to measure the company's strategic
objectives, which were broken down into dashboards with the most
impactful variables explaining their behavior. This allowed me to build
both the strategic and tactical layers. Using SQL and a custom-built
business intelligence system, I connected to the commercial and
technical information systems' databases and, therefore, to the
operational details. As a result, every strategic objective was aligned
through data and metrics down to the field operations, improving the
operational, tactical, and strategic indicators.
From 2006 to 2010, in the energy loss department, I led the
implementation of an ETL system. We integrated different data
sources, developed prediction algorithms, analyzed customer
behavior, and created characterizations to detect energy theft. I
worked closely with different stakeholders and their expertise,
combining my own knowledge of the business, mathematical and
statistical knowledge with a team of technical developers and data
analysts.
In summary, during my time at Celsia SA ESP, I was able to leverage
my expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and project
management to drive significant improvements in the company's
financial and operational performance Achievments: hrough a data-driven strategy, the company's annual EBITDA grew 9X.
We decreased energy losses by 10%
