Aug. 2017 - Nov. 2018Mexicali y alrededores, MéxicoJOB SUMMARY Ensure the accuracy and financial integrity of product cost, manufacturing performance and inventory levels. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide accurate and timely cost accounting information. Analyze margins each month end and adjust cost records/update standards as required. Reconcile general ledger and perpetual inventory accounts. Review project-tracking activity, which includes insuring the project reports agree with the General Ledger, maintaining detailed records and analyzing performance. Record changes to material purchase price standards and update the database. Perform labor overhead analysis, sales by product line analysis and other various cost analysis as required. Review the cost database and optimize the quality of the database. Analyze monthly all “inventory loss” accounts to assess major discrepancies to standards and rework/scrap levels, and pursue corrective action where warranted. Prepare and distribute monthly internal manufacturing reports. Provide inventory analysis in support of the inventory consignment program; process inter-company transfer of inventory. Perform other work related tasks as assigned. FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and discuss manufacturing plant performance with on-site accounting groups as well as operations management on a weekly/monthly basis. Analyze inventory information in the ERP system and sub-ledgers to ensure accurate valuation of inventory, including coordinating OES reviews and annual cost rolls. Assist in developing and monitoring standard labor rates. Prepare financial planning/forecasting for monthly operating reports, mid year plan, and annual financial plan as required. Monitor and process cost roll request to ensure inventory valuation is accurate for all US Rig factories and Rig Up yards. Assist with on-boarding new locations to Oracle and provide cost accounting training as required.
