Member of Alfa's Deal Committee, responsible for the identification of both legal and commercial risks and subsequent provision of advice to the committee and other senior management on those risks, potential impacts on business operations and available mitigations. Responsible for leading all commercial and contractual negotiations with new and existing customers, partners and vendors in all geographies. Successfully negotiated over £1bn of new contracts with customers across the UK, Europe, USA, Australasia, South Africa and India. Worked closely with the commercial team and key business stakeholders (CEO, CFO, sales, product & engineering) to bring multi-million pound software implementation projects to life. to the introduction of DORA across Alfa's customer base operating in the European Union. Further responsible for many corporate compliance requirements, managing global insurance programmes and the development of internal documentation, policy creation and their ongoing review. Managed a team of legal and commercial professionals, providing mentorship and guidance. Responsible for resolving any customer disputes escalated from programme directors. Worked with the corporate team to create new German & French entities and formulated the related contracting approach.
