Axiall is a leader in chlorovinyls chemicals, aromatics and building products with approximately $4.7 billion of revenues. My responsibilities included evaluating acquisition opportunities, optimizing the current portfolio of businesses, crafting and implementing elements of the strategic plan, and interacting with the finance and legal functions on a daily basis. I updated the Board of Directors on our M&A and strategy initiatives. I led the divestiture process for a specialty chemical business as well as a commodity chemical business. Combined they accounted for over $800 million of revenues in 2014. On a daily basis I coordinated the activities of due diligence teams including functional experts in finance, legal, EH&S, human resources, supply chain, information systems, operations, and technology and product/market experts in chemicals and building products.
