Anthony Benintend is an experienced banker and former “Big-4” accounting and management consulting practitioner with over twenty-eight years of experience working with C-level executives. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at Robinson & Co Banking covering the Aerospace, Defense and Government Contracting, Technology and Renewables industries. Anthony secures financing for middle-market companies managing transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. His understanding of capital markets has made him a trusted advisor to clients seeking to grow their businesses through strategic consulting, equity and debt financing, and venture capital initiatives. Anthony's role at Robinson & Co is critical in bridging the gap in the debt markets by connecting clients with private equity funds, hedge funds, and family offices. Before his tenure at Robinson & Co, Anthony was a Senior Vice President at Fifth Third Bank's Middle Market Banking Group in Del Mar, CA. His experience includes significant roles in finance, accounting, treasury, and investment sectors. Notably, he served as a Commercial Banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch after transitioning from high-profile positions at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Booz Allen Hamilton in San Diego. Anthony's early career was shaped by his time as a 'Big-4' Accountant and Financial Management Consultant. He began his professional journey after serving as a Legislative Aide to the Committee on Ways and Means in the U.S. House of Representatives. Academically, Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and is an alumnus of The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he refined his financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and strategic planning skills. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Anthony dedicates time to economic empowerment through volunteer work with San Diego Habitat for Humanity on their Audit and Finance Committees.
