Nov. 2013 - Sep. 2014Long Beach, CAMy primary role with Total Network Solutions was Director of Operations, but as a small business I was fortunate to be involved in many parts of the business. In my role as Director of Operations I was responsible for Monthly Recurring Service Accounts (MSA) management, including scheduling and billing, as well as reconciliation of the corresponding services and procurement accounts. Responsible for both managed services and projects. I also managed all time and materials contracts, and relevant internal and client facing metrics and reporting. My secondary role with the organization was as Project Manager, which allowed me to participate in the consulting side of the business, preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and undertaking all project management as the opportunities arose with our customer base. Responsible for new staff, I was involved in all prescreening and prequalifying qualifying candidates for hire, as well as the new hire orientations, delivering the executed HR Documentation, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating the necessary new staff training. The ongoing management of helpdesk staff and resources scheduling was a part of my area of responsibility that was most rewarding, building a strong and united team in a 24x7x365 environment. I also functioned as account manager for most of our accounts, taking care of all customer communications regarding service calls, issues, or billing. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to manage the procurement process, including AP/AR status reporting, recognizing and capturing recurring procurement opportunities and ensuring both client documentation and contract billing were updated for each new asset.
