These constitute a complementary opposites, therefore we also work with other exercises where you learn to harmonize these energies and applying Tai Chi's principles. By accelerating the slow form can be transformed into an advanced martial art. If you gradually learn this and continue to train its internal and external techniques, which can eventually develop Tai Chi to effective self-defense, a system of mental control and balance are of greater importance than physical strength.
