As a passionate and technically driven photographer with a growing body of work spanning Landscape & Nature, Street & Urban, and Fine Art & Abstract photography, I bring both a creative eye and a meticulous approach to post-production that I believe aligns closely with what you are looking for. Through building my photography brand, ApertureAndArt, I have developed hands-on experience across the full image lifecycle — from conceptualising and capturing shots across diverse genres, to culling, retouching, colour grading, and preparing files for print production and digital platforms. Working directly with professional print fulfilment partners has given me a thorough understanding of print-ready specifications, colour management, and the exacting standards required for fine art reproduction. My work is informed by a deep appreciation for composition, light, and the story each image tells. My retouching and editing practice is built on non-destructive workflows using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Whether working on landscape and nature imagery that demands precise tonal control and colour accuracy, or fine art abstracts that require a more interpretive touch, I apply both technical rigour and artistic sensitivity. I am equally comfortable with high-volume production editing and with the more considered, detail-intensive work that bespoke retouching requires. My background in data and systems also means I naturally bring structure, consistency, and efficiency to any editing workflow. What sets me apart is that I understand the commercial context behind imagery. I have planned and executed multi-channel visual content strategies, thought carefully about how images function across e-commerce, social media, and physical exhibition contexts, and developed a strong instinct for what makes an image work for its intended purpose — not just aesthetically, but commercially.
