•Identifies and researches complex issues related to leaves of absence
•Interprets Family Medical Leave Act ( FMLA ), Families First Coronavirus Relief Act ( FFCRA ), Short and Long Term Disability ( STD, LTD ) and Worker’s Compensation (WC) plans, programs, policies, and procedures for employees and provides advice and recommendations for remediation of escalated issues and plan/process improvements
•Responds to employee and department inquiries regarding leave plans and programs, vacation donations, and any other Absence Management-related functions
•Acts as a liaison between the employee and applicable third-party administrators
•Maintains all employee records accurately in all applicable systems
•Administers HR-related processes compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
•Appropriately handles controversial or sensitive employee issues with discretion.
