Make recommendations to customer to avoid costly oil changes.  Handle customer complaints or difficulties associated with the use of Petron branded products.  Conduct field engineering performance tests, inspections and seminars as required. Use of Kistler, Doctor, and Malin electronic engine analyzers to monitor diesel engine performance as well as Testo emission analyzer for exhaust gas emission test of boiler, engines and furnaces  Initiate and/or conduct performance evaluation projects on new and existing Petron products, lubrication devices and develop new applications for existing products.  Handle periodic lubrication seminars to customers in the in areas of lubrication, fuel application, product safety and handling and interpretation of laboratory analyses.  Render other technical customer and company service assistance such as (1) assist in the technical training of sales staff or new technical engineers, (2) advice Sales staff along technical matters and on adequacy of products to meet the technical requirements of the market, (3) represent the Company in technical societies and seminars, (4) prepare technical correspondence to customers.
