And in October 2022 we opened the first such centre in Hastings, having converted a former Debenhams store into an entertainment centre which houses within its 80,000 square feet 20+ different attractions supported by 5 food and beverage outlets. As a result, I now have the blueprint and have developed a precise and exciting way forward repurposing many large former retail spaces into vibrant, exciting entertainment centres. Here I piloted on behalf of the company something we called Yield management it was a tool head office and I tried to put the finishing touches on before it was eventually rolled out across the group, now yield management is everywhere and a mainly automated system linked in to lotus 123. little did I know that this six month test would ultimately be an omnipresent tool in our future. I do feel some sense of responsibility and wished I had copyrighted it as well
