Oct. 2022Greater Los Angeles, California, United StatesAs a UX/UI product designer at NumberOne AI, I was responsible for leading product design across multiple projects, including AI, machine learning, and ed-tech platforms on mobile, tablet, and desktop. I worked closely with engineers, data scientists, and product owners to create intuitive solutions to complex problems, using a range of design methodologies and tools. One of my core responsibilities was to understand user needs and behaviors by creating empathy maps, user personas, and conducting user research. These techniques helped me to better understand the user's perspective and develop solutions that met their needs. I also used card sorting and competitive analysis to identify key features and prioritize them for development. To create seamless experiences, I developed user flows, site maps, wireframes, and rapid prototypes that helped stakeholders visualize the user journey and provide feedback. My designs were always grounded in user research and data, which allowed me to make informed decisions and iterate on designs quickly. In addition to creating low-fidelity designs, I also worked on high-fidelity designs that helped stakeholders visualize the final product. I used my knowledge of visual design principles to create designs that were not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Collaboration was key to success, and I worked closely with product managers, product owners, and developers to ensure that each project was delivered on time and on budget. I also conducted user testing and incorporated feedback to improve the product's usability and overall experience. Seeing each project through to launch was one of my biggest accomplishments. From ideation to final design, I was involved in every step of the process, ensuring that the final product met user needs and exceeded expectations. Fourplay SocialSr. UX Designer

Oct. 2022 - Oct. 2023New York, New York, United StatesAt Fourplay Social, I had the opportunity to work on various user-centered design activities to ensure that the app was designed to meet the target audience's needs. I began by conducting empathy mapping sessions with a diverse group of millennials to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, desires, and frustrations. I used the insights gathered to create user personas that accurately represented our target audience's characteristics, motivations, and behaviors. My collaborative experience was also an essential part of the design process. I worked closely with the founders/stakeholders, developers, and graphic designers to create a cohesive and user-centric product. Through regular communication, I ensured that the stakeholders' vision for the app was translated into the design, and the developers implemented the design correctly. Additionally, I worked with the graphic designer to align the app's visual design with the brand's aesthetic and identity. To determine the most intuitive information architecture for the app, I facilitated card sorting sessions. Using the results, I created site maps and user flows to ensure a smooth user journey. With a clear understanding of the user's needs, I designed wireframes for every feature of the app, which were rapidly prototyped to test and validate user interactions. Throughout the design process, I conducted user research studies to gather feedback and make data-driven decisions that resulted in a highly user-friendly and engaging experience. The combination of empathy mapping, user personas, card sorting, user research, user flows, site maps, wireframes, and rapid prototypes have been instrumental in creating an app that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement. My ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders ensured that the product was delivered on time and met the stakeholders' expectations.
