EngrainDirector of Project Management
Apr. 2021 - Mar. 2022Greenwood Village, Colorado, United StatesEngrain is a recognized leader in software-as-a-service (SAAS) mobile, online, and touch-screen software solutions for the real-estate industry. - As a director, I managed 3 different teams with varying responsibilities across two unique product categories: SightMap Project Managers, TouchTour Project Managers, and Client Success Specialists (designed to support the Project Managers); 13 team members total
- Acted as a point of escalation to solve sensitive client issues and offer direction for challenging client communications
- Updated onboarding documentation and training materials for all teams within my purview
- Assisted leadership in the creation of a bi-yearly team member assessment to open a dialog regarding performance, as well as offer the opportunity to discuss wins and challenges. Of a 4 point scale, all team members achieved above a 2.6 out of 4 (above average performance)
- Hired seven team members designed to manage the influx of work being signed
- Created a team member assessment to open a dialog regarding performance, as well as offer the opportunity to discuss wins and challenges within the role every six months Thanks to my working knowledge of the product development lifecycle and associated processes, I was pulled into a business process management effort focused on Engrain’s product implementation
- As part of a team of two, the Operational Project Manager and I worked closely with business leadership and team members to prioritize, define, develop, and deploy the updated product implementation process for both product sets
- This effort grew to include not only Engrain’s product implementation, but also sales team communication and expectation setting, defining product standards and features, product quality assurance, as well as revamping client communication
- With these efforts, product implementation timing was reduced by 46%, with product adjustments from the client dropping by 66%
