Apr. 1998 - Feb. 2012Rotterdam Area, NetherlandsMY ROLE: As founder and CEO I've built Outdare in 13 years from a company that was specialised in open source web applications to a company with a focus on implementing SugarCRM. I introduced SugarCRM in The Netherlands few months after their founding. NL soon became a good performing market for both SugarCRM and Outdare. Outdare was the first partner to reach Gold status in the Benelux. As for the size of the company, 10-15 FTE, CEO often meant Chief Everything Officer. I was responsible for Product-Market combinations, Business Development, Human Resource Management and Finance. In 2012 I arranged Outdare to be acquired by the Ictivity Group, which later sold Outdare to Acuity. ABOUT OUTDARE: Outdare offered a range of value adding services around the use of SugarCRM software. The services included additional software development, implementation, integration and training. All focussed on the optimal use of SugarCRM so organisations experienced the greatest benefit.
