My name is Luca, I am an aeronautical professional from Italy with very wide interests in other areas of engineering and a can-do attitude. Here are some of my credentials: - Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and Specialising Master's in Fundamentals of the Air Transportation System, both from Politecnico di Milano - co-author, with a terrific team of Stanford University's scientists, of a paper discussing the use of full-face snorkelling masks in the fight against Covid-19 - 2+ years' experience as a maintenance coordinator in the MCC of Italy's leading provider of helicopter services - holder of several aircraft type training courses (AW169, BK117D-2, Arriel 2) - currently working as an external consultant to one of the world's leading helicopter manufacturers - together with a friend, we built some skis from scratch in my garage - helped with translating a couple of mountaineering videos from English into Italian - very keen outdoorsman with an eye for the technical aspects of the sports (skiing, climbing/mountaineering, sailing, etc.) - my mother tongue is Italian, but English is also not a problem.
