Aug. 2007 - Oct. 2013Washington, DCWWF's Market Transformation Initiative (MTI) focuses on mitigating the impacts of soft commodity production on some of the world's most important ecosystems. By working with producers, traders, brands, and retailers in the supply chain, the MTI aims to shift production of 15 key global commodities towards more sustainable production. In addition to being the Deputy Director of the program since August 2010, I was part of the original strategy development team for the MTI, and also played roles leading the global corporate engagement strategy and developing country strategies for key offices including China and India. From August 2012 to April 2013, I also served as the acting global lead for the MTI. In an earlier role at WWF, I also helped to establish the Water Roundtable as part of the Alliance for Water Stewardship, which aimed to created the world's first global water stewardship standard.
