Oct. 2013ECGL is a start up hospitality company focused on establishing high-end lodges in Ghana's National Parks and community wildlife destinations. Construction on our first lodge in Mole National Park started in February 2013, and we are aiming for a mid-2014 opening. The Zaina Lodge at Mole National Park will be a 25 room tented lodge, with each room sitting on the edge of a ridge with fantastic views of the savannah sunset and the wildlife watering holes below. Yes, you will be able to watch elephants, bush bucks, and warthogs from your room balcony, or the restaurant, or the infinity pool for that matter. ECGL builds on my community ecotourism work while I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana from '98 - '01 and has been established in collaboration with the Nature Conservation Research Centre, a Ghanaian non-profit organization. Our aim is to deliver stellar service and unforgettable experiences in some of Ghana's most amazing destination, while also providing resources for conservation and community development.
