Dionis Rodriguez has over 25 years of experience in consulting, real estate investment, asset management, private equity, and entrepreneurship. He is the cofounder of Sojourner Glamping, an upscale U.S. glamping resort venture focused on wellness. In 2014, Dionis founded Crimson Rock Capital, a value-oriented investment firm. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Acquisitions & Development at GB Lodging (now GFI Hospitality) and was the founding Managing Partner of Optimus Hotel Partners, overseeing an international hotel and mixed-use portfolio. At Amstar Global Partners, Dionis led the Asia division and spearheaded hotel acquisitions and asset management, contributing to a top-performing $335 million multi-sector fund.
Earlier in his career, Dionis was an Associate at AIG Global Real Estate, managing over $200 million in equity investments and a $1 billion portfolio across Central and Eastern Europe. He also held key roles at New Castle Hotels & Resorts, HVS International, and various private equity ventures.
Dionis is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Business School.
Dionis is Chairman of the Board at Teaching Matters, and serves on the boards of The Guestbook, Shrtlst, The Harvard Business School Club of New York, and The Harvard Club of New York.
