Following an initial period during which I dealt with recruitment, analysis, and in-depth study of local commercial and legislative documentation, beginning in 2008, my role was the overall management of the start-up with focus on Business Development and Human Resources activities.
My primary efforts involved the start-up and rebuilding of company structures and policies, intervening on all functions and redesigning the company organisation to make it more efficient and competitive.
In Business Development, I dealt with the strategic planning of commercial activities (opening branches, seeking clients) on the territory and international cross-selling for the Group.
Much attention was dedicated to HR concerning management level personnel, with strong effort made in coaching and technical training, and staff through the redefinition of all HR management policies and planning all training activities. Main Achievements
- I created a company structure in line with “Gi Group” policies while respecting Chinese culture and customs, constituting directive functions in Personnel, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales with personalised and shared objectives.
- In 2 months I defined the Sales Management structure with Objectives and a monthly Budget for each branch/region. - I guaranteed, through personal and constant coaching on Management, the reaching of a high level of forecasting and planning in all Company Functions, involving them in the sharing of objectives.
- For Guang Ye, I implemented and directly managed the opening of 11 new branches (compared to the 7 existing ones) bringing the opening time for each branch from 4 months to 35 days.
- For E4U, I collaborated in the opening of 4 branches.
- I brought the number of temporary workers from 8,000 to a peak of 11,000.
