Work Background
Writing Sabbatical
Learning Design/Facilitation/WriterWriting Sabbatical
Nov. 2023Prague, CzechiaOn a writing sabbatical to work on a nonfiction project titled "Driving Culture at Scale: What I Learned as a Leadership Scientist at Amazon." Over the years, I've had the privilege of working within some truly iconic organizational cultures, including Genentech, Kaiser Permanente, Southwest Airlines, Amazon, and Novartis. The wisdom I gained at Amazon, about how to drive a culture that drives performance (the company's workforce expanded from 400,000 to 700,000 employees during my tenure, is something I’ve wanted to share for some time. I'm excited to finally bring this project to life and to provide invaluable lessons on culture at scale. If any of my former colleagues are interested in sharing their stories, please reach out to me on LinkedIn.
