I have worked in the financial world for 25 years. I studied B.Comm (actuarial) at the University of Stellenbosch and also achieved my CFA and CAIA designations. I have served in several roles during my career in financial services including financial analyst, portfolio manager, national business development manager and national client relationship manager. I have recently pivoted to follow my passion for programming with my knowledge of financial markets. More specifically I have spent the last couple of years building my skills in building decentralized apps in the crypto space. Although I have now built several apps that are up and running, they do not generate enough income yet to sustain me fulltime. Thus I am looking to use my skills doing shorter term work to help other businesses or projects.
