Lead and managed department initiatives, IT projects, and compliance programs for data privacy regulations, NYU policy, accreditation bodies, etc. Managed all aspects of the operational administration of NYU’s incident reporting databases – including oversight of data storage and retrieval systems, data quality and integrity; import and exports; analysis and retrieval; user access and permissions, ad hoc and custom reports, system audit logs.
Managed annual database and record clean-up projects for NYU’s Annual Security report criminal statistics and regulatory compliance. Developed and composed Records Management policies, procedures, technical manuals, and training courses for the CALEA accreditation initiative. Composed NYU Lost and Found, property and evidence management policies and procedures. Lead planning and scheduling of the user testing, deployment, and maintenance phases of the overall SDLC processes. Supported, administered, managed, and tuned the department's multi-terabyte database systems. Monitored, tested, analyzed, and evaluated the existing infrastructure to optimize it based on department initiatives, technological advancements, and cost. Maintained data integrity by performing weekly/monthly/quarterly database cleanup projects.
