This system has significantly improved forecasting, distribution, and tracing, thereby reducing ambiguity and waste. Its impact on healthcare workers is profound, making their jobs easier and more efficient. Through the design and facilitation of cross-functional workshops, we proactively identified and addressed inter-departmental workflow issues. This proactive approach, if left unattended, could have led to user workarounds and critical privacy risks, including HIPPA non-compliance. Our proactive approach led to the resolution of these issues, improving data integrity and ensuring cross-functional use, while safeguarding business and patient data. Collaboration with the CTO was key in defining product roadmaps and implementation strategies. By staying aligned and working closely with our teams, we successfully removed obstacles and reprioritized features. This showcased our collective problem-solving skills and the power of teamwork, reinforcing our ability to overcome challenges. Research-led digital experience designed for hospitals across Ontario has been instrumental in preventing, reducing, and tracking violence experienced by healthcare workers in hospitals, hospices, and other environments. This has significantly improved the safety and well-being of these essential workers.
