Nov. 2012 - May. 2014Greater Atlanta AreaAs Consumer Insights Manager at Kids II, I was responsible for helping Kids II stay engrossed in the world of parents and children. I oversaw research to inform Kids II's innovative product development and brand strategies. I truly enjoyed the opportunity to be the voice of the consumer within the organization. In my role, I served several departments as the in-house research expert, advising on proper research techniques, execution, and interpretation of consumer research. I was engrossed in both qualitative and quantitative research in-house and gained experience conducting focus groups, ethnographic research, in-home consumer use studies, web-based surveys, conference research, and shop-alongs. In my day to day, I was involved throughout the research process at Kids II including research requests, survey writing/programming, discussion guide creation, moderation, analysis / reporting and presenting. In addition to the research conducted in-house, I worked closely on our brand tracker, segmentation and also managed research conducted with outside vendors. Some additional responsibilities included:
Developing best practices for research, driving research plans, timelines, and budgets for several departments
Advising marketing, product development, and sales of opportunities and unmet consumer needs
Managing Kids II online panel- Generation Mom
Staying up to date on consumer trends
