Without the occasional hand-up, I would have never made it in this really, really demanding field. 20 years later and this is home. It all started at steelbridge.io (formerly steelbridgemedia.com) I still develop websites and really, I'd like to do it full-time, but the server side requires my time these days. As a developer, I can perform all kinds of tasks from building, extending, and correcting. I'm good at working with UI/UX experts and building out what is needed. I still code in my free time. Or learn about new tech. I enjoy it. Why I came back to it.

I discovered after the shine of being a guide wore off, that technology is my home, my passion. I love solving problems. I always worked part-time while guiding, staying up to date on my previous craft, and contributing to open-source as a way to learn and a hobby in a sense. I had evolved as a developer of web applications over a decade either volunteering or seeking contract work. I was able to get into developing full-time in 2015 while still guiding on weekends. I no longer work on the rivers but have the greatest memories of smiles and fun times. I strive to bring that very color into my version 2.0 world-building for ParsonsHosting, Inc.
