Oct. 2020 - Mar. 2023Pasadena, Texas, United States• Promoted to Area Manager charged with leading a team of 9 outside sales specialists across the Texas Gulf Coast region with total sales of $9.797M in 2021 revenue in addition to managing an operational responsibility of a retail facility/service center employing an additional 15 people including inside sales, application engineering, repair technicians, machinists, logistics personnel and quality control. • Strategically negotiate and manage pricing agreements, preferred vendor agreements, strategic customer agreements, and other contracts in partnership with our contracts team to secure long-term repeat business with key clients. • Work cross-functionally with various parts of the organization and as the primary point of contact to help facilitate growth for our sales team including direct engagement with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, marketing & product management. • Conduct field sales calls with specialists providing subject matter expertise to drive sales as well as to gather market intelligence for product and process improvements. • Established and implemented a CRM system with our sales team and managed the tracking of leads and projects in the system for SIOP activity and strategic planning. • Served as the regional champion and SME for CRM integration and rollout to sales personnel as well as directly engaged with CRM administrators to design and test functional dashboards/views for users at various levels. SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS: • Recognized for spearheading and implementing an annual territory planning process for direct sales specialists with key elements including target account (new account) growth, professional development, territory sales analysis & planning for value-added items with customers. Following implementation, 2021 saw $580K in incremental revenue tied to new accounts.
