HPCitrix Support Engineer (Client Virtualization Services)
Jan. 2016 - May. 2018Philippines-Provide technical support for the virtualization and Citrix infrastructure of one of HPE's biggest clients (Commonwealth Bank of Australia) and its ASP customers -Played the role of levels 1 and 2 in which I was responsible for managing and resolving incidents regardless of the severity (P4-P1)
-Assist more than a thousand users and on several occasions, VIPs, experiencing VDI and application issues through remote desktop and or via call -Responsible for processing and completing all Service Requests such as VDI onboarding and offboarding, VDI rebuilding, processing user access, application installation, and other ad hoc request
-Responsible for ensuring daily health checks are monitored and done
-Handle a few problem (Problem Management) and perform changes (Change Management) to the environment based on the agreed SLA -Provide maintenance; pre-emptive monitoring; management and support to more than 3000 VDI's -Involved in calls with different vendors such as Citrix, Microsoft, Liquidware labs, Netscaler, Verizon etc. for issues that are highly escalated
-Other technologies exposed to and used: Liquidware labs (Stratusphere), Microsoft Hyper V, Virtual Machine Manager Console, ObserveIT, QARS, Appsense, Powershell, Netscaler, MyRas, Windows Server 2012 -Coordinate with different teams such as Wintel, Storage and Back Up, Database, SCCM, Security (McAfee), Service Desk, Network and Applications team for virtualization and Citrix related issues *Awarded and recognized as one of the Standout Performers within the Client Virtualization Services, Wintel and Engineering teams and was given an equivalent monetary reward.
