Reports to the Global Retail Director and manages a team of 7 direct reports and 3 indirect reports in visual merchandising, operations and training across 9 retail stores in the region. Manage the operational performance of the stores in the area, including profit and loss, promotional activity and staff performance. Identify, review and implement new sales opportunities and strategic plans to boost store performance, increase sales, profitability and surpass targets.
Develop and mentor store teams to surpass KPI targets, and build a culture of success, encourage staff development and career progression. Handled all staff-related matters, including recruitment, training and complex and sensitive issues around disciplinaries and grievances.
Led the store management teams to achieve their individual and team performance targets, chair management meetings to review performance and areas for improvement. Implemented customer initiatives and continuous improvements.
