Oct. 2007 - Apr. 2014•Head-up team responsible for commercial and technical product development, product integration (with OSS / BSS systems) and launch readiness for enterprise last mile access including Metro-e, Dedicated fibre, FTTx, Microwave, APNs, LTE, Femto, WiMAX, ADSL, Satellite, bundled SME offerings as well as Customer specific solutions. •Define and implement product roadmap and marketing strategy for Fixed line and Wireless Access services in alignment with Vodacom Business overarching business strategy and competitor activities.
•Network Capacity and device inventory and budgetary planning, identification of new areas for network roll out using inputs from sales forecasts, fibre providers and Vodacom transmission engineering •Business plan development (Costing and pricing) in line with target profitability and competitor benchmarking to ensure sales and revenue targets for Access / FTTX product sets are achieved. (targets met in year 1 and exceeded in year 2)
•Presentations and / or negotiation at strategic customer interactions, events and bids.
•Determine and enforce delivery SLAs with internal and external providers with reference to link installation time lines, feasibility / site surveys, site readiness requirements etc
•Performance monitoring and executive reporting with reference to product quality and customer experience.
•Program management of end to end commercial access product processes including pre-sales assessments, non standardised requests, order processing, link deployment, migrations, outdoor transfers and cancellations.
•QoS requirements in terms of traffic management on layer 2 products and support of layer 3 products (honoring of CIR end to end).
•Training (for solutions architects and sales teams), marketing communications, maintenance of portal based product information and product launches
