Hi! I’m Laura, a product designer by day with a graphic design background, and a design volunteer and mentor by night. Down to create end-to-end positive long-lasting experiences, and why not a business card or two. From the initial stages of ideation to the release of the completed product, I find the entire design process a fascinating endeavor. Plus, getting to work with talented teams of creators and innovators to build something from nothing that could change someone’s life...is there anything better than that? I enjoy working on a variety of projects with a focus on product, web, branding and editorial design. I have been working for the health care and insurance industry for over 7 years and freelance/volunteer during my free time.

Apr. 2023 - Jul. 2023• Collaborated with other creatives to improved the Chat experience that is temporally only shown to a segmented group of users of cvs.com. • Worked on the North Star vision of asynchronism messaging. • Guided the team to define a better way to synthesize and create affinity mapping based on the feedback from participants so we could provide more accurate findings and propose recommendations to stakeholders. • Analyzed and documented the existing internal and competitor Refill Self-Service Capabilities while building and eye-bird view user flow with anything related to refilling prescriptions over chat.

Jan. 2023 - Apr. 2023• Collaborated with the design team to create 40-day prototype (from scratch) of this new user facing product so it could be use to sell to potential clients. • Owned features such as Active dashboard, Account settings and Navigation. • Ran an unmoderated test to validate design decisions. • Supported the Plan Sponsor product team to improve their product visual design.
