Responsible for the Poland organization located in Kraków and Wrocław. Worked on global sign-off system for UBS senior-level managing directors and board members to ensure the bank’s compliance to various regulatory demands, especially Basel III. The system became part of massive multitenant platform built with spring reactive microservices and event-based architecture deployed on Azure cloud. Designed and led the implementation of reusable components and microservices that could be deployed to multiple tenants. Followed Domain-Driven Design. Assured all features were tested in detail, which resulted in no incidents in Prod env and very positive feedback from the customers. Inspired team members to bring new innovative ideas. Evaluated any new requirements gathered by the Product Owner. Took part in the implementation of the most critical components such as billing engine and charging strategies using JEE/EJB 3.0 and many design patterns such as Template Method. Many Telco standards had to be supported (Core, 2G, 3G, 4G -LTE) which brought huge complexity on the message flows and the internal communication. Prepared a number of documents and diagrams explaining for the developers the way the application should be implemented.

Architecture renewal of the x-large terabyte OLAP Worked on terabytes-large database storing call history data for millions of customers (up to 100M). Instead of large two-node cluster, designed a farm of small shards. Prototyped the concept on MySQL InnoDB engine (instead of Oracle cluster).

Liaised directly with business clients to formulate requirements. The work was based on short iterations, prototyping and frequent feedbacks.
