Legal support to internal departments (mainly Commercial department and Project Management) with issuing opinions related to the projects. As a Corporate Lawyer - responsible for other legal issues, for example: (i) lawsuits; (ii) tax issues - in particular Balance of ICMS Credits; (iii) corporate documents; (iv) labor and EHS issues, and (v) customs procedures - jointly with supply management. Analysis, review, preparation and negotiation of national and international contracts. Involved with discussions and analysis of contracts in Latin America, mainly, in Chile and Peru in Mining Systems Projects. Experience in interface with the controller, support for accounting audit, and support in defense of tax assessments. Direct involvement in due dilligence processes for M&A and corporate restructuring.
