After numerous iterations, data review, and working closely with users over the years, we pivoted a few times into motion, a fun and inclusive platform to help encourage people to be more health and happy.

Here I saw many new challenges, mainly with managing the producing of physical products, inventory and manufacturing, as well as the app that allowed users to create and purchase them.

I took over the tech-stack from an external agency and helped them build and iterate their product into the UK's biggest nightlife platform.

Uncover DiningTechnical Lead

Jan. 2014 - Jun. 2015United Kingdom, LondonMoved to London to take on a role as the Lead developer at a new start-up. Uncover allowed high-end restaurants to list last minute availability due to cancellations, the key profit driving tables for restaurants. As well as a consumer facing product, we had many trials and tribulations building integrations with booking platforms, and later POS systems to allow users to view their live bill and pay via the app (something which was unheard of at the time). Uncover went on to be quickly acquired by Velocity Black, a digital concierge platform to the super-wealthy. After this, I stayed ~5 months to oversee the integration of my team and our software into the bigger company and platform.

Touch FantasticiOS Developer

Dec. 2010 - Jan. 2014United Kingdom, BrightonWorked as an iOS developer at this boutique app development studio in Brighton. Most notably we built the chart-topping Radio Alan app in conjunction with the BBC and BabyCow production studios, released as a companion app to the Alpha Papa movie. We also built the Levi Roots cooking and recipe app, which was very well received. And several other less-well-knows apps I can talk for hours about upon request :)
