Jun. 2015Osaka, Japan• Responsible for the physical performance of the players and running of a world class performance program. • This includes designing and implementing all aspects of a comprehensive Strength and Conditioning program.
• Large amounts of communication with the coaching staff about the load management of specific players and playing group using GPS, Heart Rate, RPE, Recovery Questionnaires and Musculoskeletal Screenings which are reflected in highly detailed data reports.
• Lead and conduct research into our playing group in regards to performance on and off the field and relationships between the two.
• Lead and drive the physical performance team consisting of a number of strength and conditioning staff, physiotherapists, nutritionist and team Doctor.
• Since starting with The Kintetsu Liners the team has made immense improvements in athletic abilities. This is proven through the players’ increased running speed, intensity and acceleration efforts during training and games, as well as significant increases in strength and power in the gym.
• Continue to work with a large variety of international level coaches and players form around the world.
