Providing Infrastructure support for Orange internal and external systems such as internal Orange infrastructure based on VMware vSphere and vCloud Director and also external orange services such as Orange Cloud platform also based on vSphere and vCloud Director for service provider . Managing and Troubleshooting internal VDI solution based on Horizon and aiding in the migration to XenDesktop with XenApp based on Hyper-V 2016 . Working with Dell and HP servers both stand alone 2u and chassis Daly Tasks include the following : - Managing the internal and external vSphere Infrastructure with 8 vCenter Servers in 3 locations in Romania , two locations in Bucharest and on DR in Cluj consisting of over 15000 VM’s across all sites. - Managing the vCloud Director instances internal and external - Managing the backup solutions based on EMC Avamar , Commvault and Veeam for the virtual infrastructure both Hyper-v and vSphere - Managing the VMware Horizon infrastructure - Managing the NSX Infrastructure - Configuring and automating tasks via vRealize Orchestrator and PowerCLI - Patch Mangement for physical hots such as firmwire updates , software updates - Configuring and maintaining the monitoring system based on a flavor of Nagios named CheckMK - Design and Implement upgrade paths for internal and external infrastructucture - Perform monthly analysis of critical systems for proactive maintenance - Perform OnCall duties 24/7 for Priority 1 and 2 issues - Scheduled and unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting for vSphere Infrastructure - Implementing and Maintain the DR Clusters based on VMware SRM and NSX - Maintain AD , DNS , DHCP subdomain for infrastructure servers based on Windows 2012 AD . - Configuring and Maintain the physical HP c7000 chassis that are used for virtualization. - Maintain the vCenter , vCloud , Veeam DB’s - Maintain the RabbitMQ instances for automation purposes - Configuring Windows and Linux vm’s per clients requests .
