Feb. 2012 - Jul. 2013530 W 120th Street, New York, NY 10027• Responsible for reviewing and processing all prospective clean room user applications • Responsible for development and maintenance of clean room processes, user training, and management of most aspects of cleanroom operations • Responsible for ordering of all consumable clean room items, chemicals and precious metals
• Responsible for advertising, interviewing, hiring and training all clean room work study laboratory assistants
• Work closely with clean room users to develop training procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, create facility protocols on new equipment and newly developed processes • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair on the following clean room tools; Thermal Deposition, Sputter Depositions, Chemical Vapor Deposition, E-beam Evaporation, Oxygen/Hydrogen Plasma etchant systems, lithography tools and Spin Processors • Coordinate and share the responsibility with the supervisor for creating and maintaining safe and effective clean room operations within Columbia University's CEPSR Clean Room, including compliance with all University and government requirements and regulations
