By capacity building, the programme strengthens freedom of expression, processes and synergies between cultural policy areas and development in Albania and Armenia. • As full-time Acting Operation Manager from June – November 2022 and during the absence of senior management, I was responsible for overall the development, budgeting, and reporting to Sida of the programme in Albania. Currently working as a full-time Programme Officer with responsibility for the programme development, budgeting, and reporting of the implementation in Albania.
• Leading the Albania team, I support programme partners in their daily work both in Sweden and Albania. Tasks include mentoring programme interns in Stockholm. • Responsible for resource mobilization and partnership development, tasks include coordination and communication with national and international partners such as Swedish Embassies, Albanian and Armenian Ministries of Culture, and civil society actors for the development of capacity building activities, national dialogue meetings and workshops. • Development and evaluation of capacity building programme activities targeting Albanian and Armenian artists and cultural practitioners, state actors, and civil society.
• Development and quality assuring the preparation of statutory documents and annual working plans with partners, reporting to senior management and Sida. • Budget management and monitoring and evaluating budget-related anllow-up in the financial systems. • Management of communication strategies.
• Procurement and recruitment of new staff and national partners including development of ToRs, interviews, and capacity building of new staff members.

The work has been analytic and developed my skills of evaluation and communication skills when working with local policies and filing public documents. Working part time while studying my masters, I am now working full time since April 2019 with a large scaled evaluation in order to improve the operational process of the City Management unit. I hold interviews and investigate the sustainability of the unit. Apart from this I am working with management of political and strategic documents. This have deepened my ability to both work independently and in teams with people from various backgrounds.

This has given me first hand insight and experience of international relations. Also, I attended EU-coordination meetings and negotiations, responsible for reporting back to the capital. The work has given me great experience and deepened my respect for and understanding of diversity and how we all can learn from our differences. The intense and educational experience has developed my self-management, adaptability, and flexibility. I have also learned to work efficiently and expanded both stress-management and my communication skills for example by writing reports, doing research and meetings with international organizations.
