Oversaw UX architecting and UI design, in close coordination with product and engineering teams. Led discovery and planning efforts to lock brand positioning and persona; and to generate a properly-kitted system of identity components, aimed at creating break through in a category that had succumb to the corporate tendency of sucking the life out of lifestyle brands. The result was the birthing of a brand that wasn’t afraid to say what it meant…and to stand-up for consumers. Bootstrapped brand development and asset creation with minimal resources to project “bigger than actual” market perception; to provoke confidence in the brand with prospective channel partners, press, investors and consumers. Effort led to distribution deal with Walmart—making MobileX the maverick offering within the retailer’s mobile service lineup.
