Jul. 2012 - Jun. 2014Austin, TX3 Day Startup (3DS) is a global nonprofit that teaches entrepreneurial skills to university students through hands-on programs. As the first employee, I helped to build scalable processes for the entire program lifecycle, from pre to post-sales collaboration with partner universities and communities. I managed 32 ongoing programs, helping over 1,400 university students launch viable companies. I also helped to launch the first 3DS program focused on building early stage ventures in the commerce and retail space. After the program, RetailMeNot seed-funded a participating team via their venture arm. During my time at 3DS, 54 alumni companies graduated to raise a total of $18 million in funding and 27 were accepted into some of the best incubators and accelerators such as Y-Combinator and Techstars.
