Booz Allen HamiltonSenior Consultant/Project Manager
Aug. 2004 - Aug. 2007Falls Church, VA and McLean, VAAs a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, I worked on two teams. The Global Resilience team supported the Department of Defense Joint Services Installation Pilot Project (IPP) and Guardian Program, a full spectrum protection system for U.S. military installations. Our strategy team was tasked with developing a design concept for outfitting installations with equipment and concepts of operation (CONOPS) to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats. To develop the white paper, I worked with core team members to synthesize inputs from a team of highly technical subject matter experts (including chemists, toxicologists, cost analysts, first responders, and modeling and simulation experts.) I helped to translate the technical complexities of the team’s inputs into a format and writing style that could be interpreted across disciplinary specializations. On the Information Assurance Team, I oversaw the development of a comprehensive database project designed to track security training and certifications among DoD personnel. In that role, I collected and managed requirements, developed cost/benefit analyses, and synthesized inputs from technical experts to ensure that deliverables met business requirements effectively and on time.
