Throughout my career as a global payroll leader, I have architected advanced technology solutions that optimize and improve payroll processes, ensure security, and position organizations for rapid growth and market expansion. Leveraging my holistic and innovation mindset, I modernize traditional payroll activities with state-of-the-art dashboards and global reporting. In every organization I have worked for, I have nurtured a culture that encourages innovation and continuous process improvement, easily setting the vision and connecting teams to it. I partner with human resources, technical, legal, and executive teams as a subject matter expert and a former business owner to develop strategies and streamline processes with successful outcomes. In 2018, I led a small team to win the Payroll Team of the Year Award by GPA for quality system and process improvements while delivering 24/7 world-class service to clients. A few of my noteworthy accomplishments at Global Upside include: Developing “Global PEO Service” (GPS) to remove barriers, enabling companies to hire employees globally without setting up legal entities in foreign jurisdictions. I also cultivated a unique selling proposition that positioned Global Upside for acquisition by Safeguard World International LLC. Building a payroll 360 global reporting dashboard that enabled true global payroll reporting showcasing spend in local and global currency, created visibility for clients to track stages within the payroll process, and established accountability for parties to act in line with statutory regulations of each country. Serving as a member of the Mihi founding team to determine initial requirements and build the original architecture and schematics, including the framework for a system to track global statutory leave, holidays, and user working hours. Implement RPA, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to process payroll. Head documenting work streams and process improvement projects, working with subject matter experts (SME) to create system-ready step-by-step plans and artifacts. ● Launched “Global PEO Services” (GPS) from operational standpoint with payroll and HR perspective, enabling companies to hire employees rapidly without setting up legal entities in foreign jurisdictions. Established communication cadence with clients, understood pain points, and developed customized solutions using Mihi. ● Served as member of founding team, coordinating with C-Suite to determine initial requirements and build of original architecture and schematics; created framework for system to track global statutory leave, holidays, and working hours. ● Installed volumes of roles and employment contract types into system, alerting leadership about time-off compliance for each country; developed model to separate modules into various Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers to ensure service continuity without disruptions.

Processed international payroll utilizing individual compensation plans (ICP) in France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. Oversaw global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll accounting using Oracle Financials. Performed financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to create 2-year payroll forecasting models and calculators still in use today. ● Led payroll transformation activities and ensured accuracy of financial information; audited, discovered, and collected 6-figures in overpaid wages to terminated employees that occurred years earlier. ● Nominated for Turn Superstar Award 6 times within 11 months for problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

NetflixInternational Payroll Manager

Jul. 2014 - May. 2015Los Gatos, CARecruited as first international payroll leader, supporting global expansion of Netflix by setting employees up for global mobilization. Architected international payroll solution to automate data and money movement internationally, leveraging Workday. Mobilized cross-functional team of 13 to pay employees worldwide within 72 hours for first time, enabling Netflix to remain in global compliance and competitive despite global high employee turnover.
