This Center of Excellence is an internal consulting company providing professional services within UHG (UHG, UHC, Optum Insight, and Optum) around Salesforce Engagement and Delivery.
• Project Portfolio Management
o Manage the overall Project Portfolio. This includes over 26 active projects in different stages of delivery totaling over $11M worth of revenue. o Ensure successful delivery for the following type of Salesforce Projects; Call Center
Care Management
Sales/Lead Prospects
Operations (including HEDIS)
Clinical Services
Government (State, Public, Federal)
o Create the necessary project documentation needed for successful delivery
New Hire Onboarding
Status Reporting
Project Portfolio Tracking Issues/Risk Management
o Salesforce Roadmap: Responsible for overall project documentation including Salesforce Roadmap, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Deployment, and Post Production activities.
o Resource Management
Coordinate the necessary resources needed for each designated project
• Including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding
• This includes internal, external, and 3rd party vendor candidates.
• Sales Prospects
o Meet with respective clients/business partners who express their interest in understanding the value and delivery available within Salesforce
o Coordinate client interviews and identification of business demand Document requirements as needed
Prepare and share Salesforce demo with clients as needed
o Estimation of Work Effort
Partner internal within the Salesforce COE to prepare the necessary work estimates needed for each project
Prepare proposals • Share proposals with clients and discuss delivery approach Within a four week period of time, sold over $500,000 worth of new client business for the Salesforce COE (Center of Excellence)
