Referral AI Program: Launching of AI technology in the Admission Services business unit to help drive greater awareness around patients who qualify to be admitted in the Acute line of business. • Introduced AI technology using a pilot approach for Acute Admissions referral processing. • The business case for this effort was designed with the focus around introducing on average (6) more admission per hospital resulting in a $10 – 13M incremental revenue for the company. • Pilot Phase (after 6 weeks) – Build AI prompting and scoring algorithms based on admitted and deflected faxes along with a front in UI for use by the team. • 2nd Phase (12 weeks) – introduced revised AI model and UI structure to define referrals that had a greater chance of hospital admissions, while bringing in critical medical, insurance and summary information into the tool. • During the (3-month program) – completed over 120 stories, and 325 stories points.
