Nov. 2009 - Sep. 2014Orients new clients to their exercise program, including equipment use and safety, documentation, training heart rate and ratings of perceived exertion.
Performs fitness assessments and reassessments, including sub-max exercise test, body composition measurements, flexibility and muscular strength/endurance. Interprets results for clients and assists them in setting realistic goals.
Monitors and supervises exercise sessions.
Teaches exercises in a group settings.
Participates in multidisciplinary educational activities and the client incentive programs.
Monitors the cleanliness and safety of the fitness center and reports any equipment problems or safety issues.
Reviews exercise cards daily and makes revisions as needed
Promoted wellness and healthy lifestyle through physical activity and proper nutrition.
